My artistic work is based on two key elements that engage in a fluid dialogue with each other: audiovisual creation and curatorial work. I consider that these two elements nourish each other in an organic way, and I like to identify myself in that precise point of intersection.

I was born in Madrid in 1999 and I’ve always understood the audiovisual as a cathartic tool, a space to explore emotions and generate connections. My practice focuses on combining formats and genres, searching for a unique language that allows each project to come to life. I am interested in the possibilities of the audiovisual spectrum, creating sensory and emotional experiences on different levels.

Developed in 2022 in the laboratory of Expanded Ethnography with Carlos Casas in the framework of ECAM.
CUANDO EL RÍO SUENA
This project arises in 2023 in the frame of the New Media studies in La Casa Encendida, Madrid
My career is situated at the intersection between academia, curating and creation. I studied Media and Audiovisual Communication at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (2017), where I discovered my interest in curating by being part of the young team of programmers at Cineteca (2020/21).
Later, I directed my first short film, Madrid2020, under the mentorship of Sofia Bohdanowicz, marking my transition towards audiovisual creation. I have complemented this path by specializing in documentary film directing at ECAM and at the same time approaching to the new media world by learning, making and trying to incorporate it into my audiovisual creative practice.
This interaction between curatorial thinking, academic reflection and creation is essential in my practice, allowing me to approach the audiovisual as a territory of experimentation and discovery.
